Our pawsome activities

From casual meetups to themed celebrations, we organize a variety of activities designed for maximum pug enjoyment and owner connection. There's always something exciting happening for every pug and their human companion.

Casual meetups

Regular gatherings at local dog parks in the Burnaby area for pugs to play and owners to connect. Perfect for a daily dose of pug fun! Most meet ups take place on a Saturday or Sunday with weather permitting. In warmer months the meet ups will take place once a month.

Annual Tide Pool Pugs

Our most popular event!

Every summer we host an event at Spanish Banks off leash dog beach. It usually is held in July but dates can vary depending on weather and low tide. The event will typically start in the mid morning and ends when the pugs are tired. It is a casual low key event that requires just you, your pug(s), and  beach towel and beach shoes.

Our story: a passion for pugs

The Burnaby Pug Group started in 2008, by the founder and organizer, Lise and her pug Winston. It started with a simple idea: bringing local pug lovers together. What began as a few friends meeting at the park has grown into a thriving group dedicated to celebrating this wonderful breed. We're proud to have this network where every pug feels loved and every owner feels connected.
